In this workshop the course contain investigates how to make mobile , how Mobile robots move in effective and safe and predictable ways. Mobile robot is an fully automatic machine which able to move in all direction.The another thing about Mobile Robots is that ,it is capable to move in any physical environment . Revert Technology comes up with Mobile Robotics a Workshop on Mobile Robots using DTMF decoder & AVR Microcontrollers.

Workshop Duration 

The duration of this workshop is 2 consecutive days, with 8 hour session each day in a total of 16 hours properly divided into theory and hands on sessions.

At the end of this workshop, a small competition is organized among the participating students and winners are awarded with a Merit certificate.

Day 1 | First Session |  Hornbook to Basic Electronics

  3.  How Capacitors are used in Filter circuits?

  5.  What are Integrated Circuits?
  6.  Which ICs are commonly used and How?
  7.  Development of Logic Gates
  8.  Explanation of Motor Driver H-Bridge Circuit
  9.  Working of H-Bridge IC L293D
  10.  What are Photo sensors?


Day 1 | Second Session | Commencement to Atmel’s AT Mega 8 Microcontroller

  1.  What is Microcontroller?
  2.  Difference between microcontroller and microprocessor?
  3.  AVR Microcontroller Architecture and interfacing
  4.  How can we use a microcontroller in our own circuits?
  5.  How can we use a microcontroller in our own circuits?
  6.  Microcontroller Programming in ‘C’
  7.  Writing your First ‘C’ Program in AVR Studio (Blinking LED) .
  8.  On screen Debugging Programs (Step by Step)
  9.  Compilation (Step by Step)
  10.  Loading Compiled ‘C’ Program on a Microcontroller using “HID Boot”


Day 2 | Third Session | DTMF decoder ICs

  1.  Writing first  Programs in Embedded System , Edge Avoider and Cell Phone Controlled Robot .
  2. What is DTMF?
  3.  Interfacing of DTMF ICs .
  4.  Concept and Algorithms .
  5.  Testing of a DTMF Circuits.


Day 2 | Forth Session | Development of a Mobile phone Controlled Robot

  1.  Assembling of Mobile-automaton Kit
  2.  Programming of Atmega8/16/32
  3.  microcontroller for Mobile control Robot
  4.  Testing of Final Circuit
  5.  Test run of Mobile Controlled Robot
